Stir-fried Xiao Bai Cai and Tofu Puff

Hi ChoxChe-ers! it's another Saturday! How have you been? Did you have a great time last Friday night? Last night I went to stroll around the Orchard area and ended up sitting for hours untill 11.30 in front of Wisma Atria listening to the songs created and sung by a local talent. His name is KenLohty and he was performing to raise fund for his album. I hope this dream of his come true as his voice and songs are awesome. Go check his IG when you are free guys! Anyways, today I am going to teach ChoxChe-ers another simple green dish; the stir-fried xiao bai cai and tofu puff. You can substitute the green with other vegetable and the tofu with other kind. If you like it, you can also add other ingredients, like eggs, tomatoes, and meats. Without further ado, let's check the recipe out!

Ingredients:

1. Minced garlic

2. Xiao bai cai (stem removed and rinsed) (300g)

3. Tofu Puff (115 g)

4. 1 tablespoon of sesame oil

5. 1 teaspoon of sugar

6. 2 teaspoons of light soy sauce

Serving size: 2

Instructions:

1. Cut the tofu puff into the shape you like. Here I divide one big square into 6 small squares.

2. Saute the minced garlic with sesame oil until aromatic.

3. Add all the rinsed xiao bai cai.

4. Quick stir until it’s one-third or around 30% cooked.

5. Add 1 teaspoon of sugar.

6. Add 2 teaspoons of light soy sauce.

7. Add all of the tofu puffs in.

8. Stir-fry under medium heat until all is cooked and well-mixed with sauce.

9. Transfer to serving plate.

~ENJOY!~
